中村俊輔にセルティック残留の可能性あり

セルティックの右サイドで特別な存在となっている中村俊輔がシーズン終了後に横浜Ｆマリノスにフリートランスファーで移籍することはほぼ既定路線と言われていた。彼の妻と子供は日本に帰りたがっているし、日本代表の試合で強行軍を強いられることが多いからだ。この決意は変わらないと思われていたのだが。

But, while everyone at Parkhead expected that to be this summer, the little man's latest comments have offered hope this might not be his final season in the Hoops.

Much of his thinking is down to the faith shown in him by manager Gordon Strachan and the fact he has been made to feel so welcome by everyone at Parkhead.

"I know that if foreign players go to a club and don't perform well they can be transferred," Naka told Celtic TV.

"I feel very proud to have been here for four years and to have played so many games.

"Every year, because the manager and chairman wanted to keep me here, I just wanted to do my best to win the title.

"I always want to show the club I'm with is the best."

最近になり、中村はセルティックのタイトルについて話すことが多くなった。インタビューでもセルティックのタイトルをということを話している。

そのためにセルティックのフロントは彼が残留することに期待しているという。このままフリーで移籍という可能性もあるが、ほんの少しでも残留という可能性も出てきたわけだ。

それは日産の経営危機は関係なく、サッカーを高いレベルで続けたいという中村の願望だという話なのだが。

果たして、中村は残留するのか、それとも古巣に戻るのか。あと３カ月後にはその結果が出ている。
