Wolfsburg - Juventus move for Barzagli?(ESPN Star.com)

Andrea Barzagli has confirmed that talks between Wolfsburg and Juventus are taking place about his transfer.

The 29-year-old has been linked to a return to Italy and, according to Sky Sport 24, the player is keen on a move to Juventus to compete for a starting place with Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci.

"I don't know anything about the details of the negotiations, the two clubs are speaking and then we'll see what happens", Barzagli said.
Given that his contract with the struggling Bundesliga side will run out this summer, Barzagli will be a cheap acquistion for the Turin club.

With finances tight at Juventus, the Italians may offer to take a sum out of the amount owed to them for Wolfsburg's previous purchase of Diego instead, in order to save on splashing any cash.
