Agent Hints At Juventus Stay For David Trezeguet(Goal.com)

David Trezeguet may well stay at Juventus following some favorable words from coach Luigi Del Neri, claims agent Antonio Caliendo, but he didn't get carried away in relation to his client's future.

Del Neri had expressed an admirable stance towards the Frenchman after seeing him in pre-season action amid reports he was heading towards Napoli.

"Trezeguet is a hard worker and he has goals in his DNA," Del Neri said on Wednesday.

But with the Vesuviani expected to announce the arrival of Edinson Cavani from Palermo, all indications seem to be pointing towards a Juventus stay for Trezeguet.

"I expected Del Neri's words considering the formation he plays. He is an honest coach and I am not surprised he was impressed with David," Antonio Caliendo told La Repubblica.

"Will he stay for sure? That depends on Juventus and on the player. Many names have been thrown up and he would have no problem accepting the challenges.

"Trezeguet is aware of his qualities, and he has never feared competition from others."

Despite being linked with Edin Dzeko, voices in Turin claim the club may consider sticking with the Frenchman.
