Juventus 2012/13 shirts unveiled(Juventus Official Website)
Juventus have unveiled the official team shirts for the forthcoming 2012/13 campaign. The new kits, designed by long-standing partner Nike, feature new sponsor Jeep and bear an inscription reading ’30 sul campo’ to honour last season’s Scudetto triumph.
A packed out press facility at the stadium’s Club Gianni and Umberto Agnelli played host to the presentation, with Asamoah, Quagliarella, Marrone, Vidal and Vucinic receiving warm applause as they modelled the kit in front of impressed onlookers.
President Andrea Agnelli began proceedings by expressing his delight at the new design.
“Today we find ourselves back here with Nike for the unveiling of the new Bianconeri shirts,” he said. “We’re also here to celebrate the results achieved by Juventus over the course of a fantastic season which began with the inauguration of Juventus Stadium on 8 September.”
“I’m happy to present this new shirt. With the Scudetto and three prestigious brands such as Juventus, Jeep and Nike, I truly believe it’s one of the finest in the world.”
Andrea Rossi, General Manager of Nike Italy, then took to the microphone to hail the continuation of a winning partnership.
“The affiliation between Nike and Juventus celebrates its tenth anniversary with an extraordinary victory that took the club back to the level it’s always competed at,” he stated.
“And for next season we’ve given the champions an iconic shirt, inspired by tradition but at the same time featuring an extremely modern look.”
The new kits include a strong link to the club’s past: the four vertical stripes represent the values championed by the Agnellis since they took charge of Juventus in 1923: family, union, loyalty and honour.
Moreover, there are various fine touches which make the shirts even more special. Inside the collar, for example, Giampiero Boniperti’s famous motto ‘Winning isn’t important, it’s the only thing that counts’ can be found.
As previously announced, an inscription bearing ’30 sul campo’ is written underneath the club badge. And while the Scudetto stars are no longer present on matchday shirts, they do appear above the badge in the version on sale to supporters. An extra third star can be added at any of the club’s stores.
The new kits are now on sale from official club stores and on Juvestore.com. They can also be purchased at Nike Stores from 19 July onwards.
三つめのラ・ステッラを付けることは認められなかったため（現在も係争中。個人的にはチャンピオン不在の２年間でいいとは思う）、’30 sul campo'（ピッチの上では３０回）と文字が書かれている。
