Juve and Al Ittihad share the spoils(Juventus Official Website)
The match started with half an hour delay following a spectacular choreography and a series of interviews to mark the occasion.
On the 2nd minute Manninger saved well on an Al Ittihad shot, putting the ball into corner. Six minutes later a good ball into the Al Ittihad area by De Ceglie is just slightly long for Trezeguet to hit home.
The 11th minute sees the home team score the opener thanks to a powerful Khariri shot which surprised Manninger: 1-0. One minute later Trezeguet is close tos coring after entering the area but the ball is deviated into corner.
It is the 14th minute when a Del Piero cross is headed wide by Poulsen. Two minutes later, a Del Piero pass finds Giovinco who has just entered the area and the Atomic Ant fires homes for the equalizer: 1-1.
On the 18th minute a good Molinaro cross into the area finds Del Piero who tries an angled header with the ball reaching Trezeguet who is caught unaware. Ten minutes later, Marchisio fishes out De Ceglie who after a great run manages to waste a good opportunity shooting wide from a favourable position.
The half-hour mark sees Grosso coming on for Molinaro, probably due to a blow suffered a few minutes before. Two minutes later, there is a free-kick for Juventus: Del Piero puts a great ball into the area and Poulsen with an imperious header puts the ball into the net for the lead: 1-2.
The 34th minute sees Manninger caught outside the goal but a dangerous shot goes wide. One minute later, Juve benefit of a corner after a shot is deviated. On the 36th minute, a Trezeguet goes just high over the bar after the Frenchman received the ball from Del Piero.
On the 40th minute Al Ittihad benefits from a free-kick: the powerful shot by Assiri goes slightly wide – great left-footed conclusion. Six minutes later, suring stoppage time, the defence is caught a bit off-guard, Idris heels the ball towards a team-mate who beats Manninger for the 2-2. The first half ends on a tie.
The second half sees Chimenti coming on for Manninger, Cannavaro for Legrottaglie, Amauri for Trezeguet and Tiago for Poulsen.
On the 2nd minute a Giovinco cross sees Amauri heading but the ball is deviated for a corner. Three minutes later, an Amauri deviation is saved by the keeper. Corner for Juventus on the 8th minute: Giovinco puts the ball into the area for an Amauri header but the striker does not manage to hit a ball which is a bit too high.
The 10th minute sees a good save by Chimenti following a rather dangerous shot by Hadded. Three minutes later, Luicano shoots wide. On the 14th minute Amauri missed a good opportunity with Giovinco close by his side, after entering the Saudi side’s area.
It is the 16th minute when Giovinco creates space for himself and shoots with the keeper managing to cradle the ball. Three minutes later a beautiful Tiago conclusion with the heel is saved by the keeper.
The 21st minute sees Marrone and Immobile come on for Marchisio and Del Piero. Two minutes later Marrone puts a ball forward for Amauri who sees his shot punched away by the keeper for a corner.
On the 27th minute Fausto Rossi comes on for Giovinco. Seven minutes later, there is a free-kick for Al Ittihad: ball into the area but it is cleared by Amauri. Juventus are suffering the pressure of the home team at the moment, also due perhaps to the many Primavera players on the field.
It is the 36th minute when Rossi puts a ball into the area from the corner flag but none of the strikers manages to hit the sphere. One minute later, Alcibiade comes on for Grygera. The 39th minute sees a good Rossi cross for Amauri being blocked by the defence.
The 40th minute sees a free-kick for the bianconeri: Grosso’s cross is a bit too short and is cleared by the defence. In the first minute of stoppage time an Amauri shot goes inches high over the bar.
The match ended in a 2-2 draw and therefore the bianconeri bid farewell to 2009 with a draw in Saudi Arabia, in what was a good training session for Ciro Ferrara’s men in front of a full stadium.
アル・イテハドとのフレンドリーマッチ。ヂエゴ、フェリペ・メロ、カセレスがいない中でチーロはマルキジオを司令塔として4-4-2でスタート。ハリリに豪快なミドルを決められて先制されるが、すぐにデル・ピエロのアシストからジョビンコが相手ＧＫを弾きとばすゴールで同点。さらにデル・ピエロのフリーキックからポウルセンがヘッドで決めて勝ち越す。しかし、アディショナルタイムに守備のほころびを突かれてエイサに決められて同点。
後半は猛攻を仕掛けたもののアル・イテハドのＧＫのビッグセーブもあって最後まで勝ち越しゴールを奪うことはできなかった。

A Jedda 2-2 davanti a Bettega(La Gazzetta dello Sport)
JEDDA (Arabia Saudita), 30 dicembre 2009 - Lo scenario è quello classico: partita al caldo, durante la sosta invernale di serie A, a fine dicembre, buona come occasione promozionale. Stavolta in Arabia. E lo squadrone italiano di turno, stavolta la Juve, fa le prove di ripresa. Tutti gli occhi per il nuovo acquisto, anche questo un classico, chiamato a risollevare le sorti di una squadra che deve cambiare rotta. Ma - e questa è la differenza - il nuovo acquisto non lo vedete sgambettare in campo. Infatti è seduto comodamente in tribuna. Si tratta di Roberto Bettega, nuovo vicedirettore generale bianconero, alla prima trasferta ufficiale nell'ultimo ruolo dirigenziale.
luci e ombre — Anzittuto Bettega è chiamato ad osservare. La sua squadra, per decidere come e se operare in questa finestra invernale di mercato. E chissà cosa avrà pensato di questa Juve d'Arabia in una partita - iniziata con 30' di ritardo per la presentazione coreografica e quasi infinita - che non può dare enormi indicazioni, certo, ma qualche indizio di futuro sì. Schierata da Ferrara con un lineare 4-4-2, che mette in lista d'attesa il più offensivo 4-3-1-2, fatto su misura per Diego, stasera assente, ma che non sempre ha funzionato in questa stagione. Marchisio fa il playmaker, e non sfigura per niente, davanti c'è la vecchia coppia di mille giorni di gloria: Trezeguet-Del Piero. È proprio il capitano, in crescita, a rifinire per le reti di Giovinco (esterno destro di centrocampo d'occasione) e Poulsen (gol di testa). Ma all'intervallo sarà 2-2. Perchè Manninger, vice Buffon, fa un paperone sul primo gol, dell'Al Ittihad. E poi, dopo un'altra incertezza, nel finale non può nulla quando la difesa bianconera gli si apre davanti come il biblico Mar Rosso, spezzata in due da un colpo di tacco che prelude al 2-2 del 45'. Per la cronaca i gol locali portano la firma di Khariri e Aissa. Nella ripresa entrano Cannavaro ed Amauri, che insegue con ostinazione il gol senza però trovarlo, nonostante un paio di buone occasioni capitategli.

ヂエゴとフェリペ・メロがいないということで昨シーズンまで慣れ親しんだ4-4-2に修正したユベントス。ハリリのミドルはＧＫマニンガーのミスとも油断とも言えるが、同点に追いつかれた場面は完全にフリーで撃たれており、守備の連携は今ひとつ。
後半は攻めまくったもののゴールが奪えず。またも引き分けで勝ちを拾えなかった。
この試合がベッテガがチーロに課した最終テストだとすると勝てなかったことで何かが変わる可能性はある。オフィシャルではなにも発表されていないけれども。
