Zaccheroni: «We need equilibrium»(Juventus Official Website)
The press conference on the eve opened with an account of the players available. Zaccheroni, made himself available to journalists to clarify the situation of some of the players: «Yesterday some had problems. You know about Sissoko. The bianconeri are awaiting a delicate match, not only because of Napoli’s value but also because of the difficult moment the team has gone through, and it is not by chance that they extended the retreat: «It is impossible to see the effect now. Zaccheroni spoke of the good done by the team in Genova, in match during which Juventus held well: «I have nothing to complain about with regards to the commitment, the way we played, the detrmination and the effort shown on Sunday. There are episodes which can determine the result but against Samp it was not a match during which we suffered their initiative. We were caught wide in a couple of occasions but we did not suffer great dangers».
Attention the shifted to the next opponents: «Napoli is a team made up of fast and resistant players, which builds its table standings especially at the San Paolo. There if thing go well it is like they have one more player, just like when things aren’t going well it is like they are playing with one man less. Now, seeing their latest performances, they will have great support».
The match will not be simple and a positive result is obligatory both for the table and so not to risk making the situation worse: «There is always a risk when you play but I take this aspect into consideration. Whoever does our job must live with risk. We must maintain a standing that allows us to compete at par with the others. We need both mental and physical presence. The physical presence cannot be at the top but as from next week we will have a greater break between one match and another and we can improve the physical condition. What we must improve is the psychological aspect: we must manage to overcome the effect of defeat which can slow us down. Therefore I will be using “man to man marking” on my players to make them understand that what is said and written is more the fruit of the result rather than the matches. We did well until the match against Siena, then a bit of everything happened and we were surely not lucky. In football, when you lose you tend to think negatively because it is the national sport and it lives on everyone’s opinion. Therefore it is necessary for those involved and who know the problems to stick to facts and not sensations. It is my duty to help the players to stick to the good we have done while trying to solve what is not working».
Zaccheroni insists on the psychological aspect of his players and the importance of managing to find the right morale: «I am older then the players. They are famous, they are champions but they are young and therefore I have to warn some of them that they might feel low on morale after a defeat and I must help them find their equilibrium again. The team must always be tense but positively tense. Sure, when you lose it is not easy, the table is not gratifying but we must start again from the good we have done up to now».

ナポリ戦は重要なゲームで、かなり難しいものになるだろうが、フィジカル面では十分に改善されていることを強調し、チームの気持ちとして平衡性が出てくればというコメントを残している。
