Defender Giorgio Chiellini has suggested that Juventus are not a great team, pointing to changes in personnel and a lack of consistency as the main reasons.

"We want to get past these difficulties that we saw in the second-half of the game against Bari, where everyone gave their best to recover. Watching from the outside, you notice certain issues," he was quoted as saying by Il Corriere dello Sport.

"Compared to the beginning of the season, something seems to have broken down for us.

"We lack a lot of things and have changed many players. For example, [Pavel] Nedved is not here anymore, someone who is part of the history of Juventus.

"These changes are not easy to adjust to. Overall, we have had too many ups and downs to be considered a great team. We haven't had continuity and can hardly understand why."

The Bianconeri were knocked out of the Champions League by Bayern Munich last week, and have already crashed to four defeats in Serie A, leaving them six points adrift of league-leaders Inter.

そのまま問題点を解決できないままにシーズンに入り、ボルドー戦のドローをきっかけにしてチームは下降線を辿っていく。インテルも失速気味なので勝ち点差はまだ６だが、セリエAの各クラブがお金がないなりに筋の通った強化を続けていれば、行き当たりばったりだった上位チームの低迷は理解できる。

イタリアの凋落は現実が見えていなかったことにあるといっていい。

Juventus midfielder Mohamed Sissoko has cleared up the persistent rumours that are linking the Mali international away from La Vecchia Signora.

'Momo' has been suffering from an abductor muscle injury in his left leg, but wants to come back better and stronger on 2010.

"I arrived at Juventus in 2008," the 24-year-old stated to Datasport. "And I am comfortable here.

"I may be out at the moment, but I hope to recover and be 100 per cent for 2010.

"I want to return to being the player I was before," Sissoko concluded.
