Claudio Marchisio and Simone Pepe have undergone medical examinations after picking up injuries in yesterday’s win over Atalanta.

Marchisio twisted his right knee in last night’s encounter. The MRI scan, held at the Fornaca clinic in Turin, has ruled out any meniscal tears.

Pepe left the action in the second half having twisted his right ankle. The winger’s scan displayed a slight strain to his anterior talofibular ligament.

Both players will have their conditions monitored over the next few days.

I due giocatori, infortunatisi ieri durante il match con l'Atalanta e costretti ad uscire, si sono sottoposti a controlli medici questa mattina, controlli che hanno escluso complicazioni soprattutto per il centrocampista centrale che aveva accusato un problema al ginocchio.

LA NOTA DEL CLUB - «Questa mattina sono stati sottoposti ad accertamenti medici Claudio Marchisio e Simone Pepe, entrambi usciti infortunati dalla gara di ieri sera a Bergamo. Marchisio ha subito una lieve distorsione del ginocchio destro. La risonanza magnetica eseguita presso la clinica Fornaca non ha evidenziato lesioni meniscali. Pepe ha subito una distorsione della caviglia destra. La risonanza magnetica ha dimostrato un lievissimo interessamento del legamento peroneo-astragalico anteriore. Per entrambi i giocatori i tempi di recupero verranno valutati nei prossimi giorni».

MARCHISIO SOLLEVATO - «Per fortuna niente di grave! - ha commentato subito sulla sua pagina Facebook il principino bianconero - Scusate se non vi ho risposto ieri ma non sapendo ancora nulla volevo aspettare oggi dopo la visita!».

いずれにしても大した怪我ではなく、よかった。

Marchisio hails Conte impact(ESPN STAR)

Juventus midfielder Antonio Marchisio has credited his manager Antonio Conte with reviving the club's fortunes this season.

Juventus have failed to add to their tally of 27 Serie A titles since being stripped of their 2005 and 2006 Scudetti after the Calciopoli scandal, ending the previous two seasons in seventh place and out of European football contention.

However, the Bianconeri's fortunes have changed this season after Conte took over the reins, finishing the year joint-top of the table with AC Milan.

Marchisio believes that Conte is chiefly responsible for the club's improvement, hailing the former Juventus player's philosophy and mentality which he has brought to Juve.

He told Reuters: "Conte has brought a new mentality to the club. One of his merits has been to eliminate the fear which had unfortunately taken hold at the club after years of disappointing results."

"The boss knows what winning means and he brings that winning mindset to the club every day based on his own hard-working, committed character,"

Marchisio has been key in Juventus' fortunes so far this season, starting in 15 of 16 league matches and firing six goals from midfield. The native Turin midfielder believes that he has excelled under Conte's style of play.
He added: "I think the new system has helped bring out my best qualities,

"I've always thought of myself as a central midfielder with good technical abiltiy and a good engine. The boss' new style helps my game and I've been able this season to get between the opponents' defensive lines."
Juventus will kick off the new year against Lecce on 8 January.

Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio says that he was never on the verge of leaving the Turin giants during the summer transfer window despite speculation that he would be offloaded.

Marchisio was reported to be heading towards the exit before the start of the 2011-12 campaign after inconsistent performances in the first team following his development at Juve’s youth academy.

However, the 25-year-old has now dismissed all suggestions that the Old Lady had lost faith in him.

“The truth is that Juve always believed in me,” he enthused, according to Tuttosport. "In the past, injuries have conditioned my career. Now finally I'm better.”

Marchisio has been in good form in the early stages of this season and scored both of Juventus’ goals in their 2-0 home victory over AC Milan in Serie A before the international break.

He then found the target for Italy as Cesare Prandelli’s side played out a 1-1 away draw with Serbia in a Euro 2012 qualifier on Friday.

Performances such as these have instigated many to compare him with Italy and Juve legend Marco Tardelli, and Marchisio is not daunted by the hype.

“The comparison with Marco Tardelli does not frighten me,” he said.

Marchisio has recovered from an ankle knock he picked up in Belgrade last week and is available for Italy’s clash with Northern Ireland in their last Euro 2012 qualifier in Pescara on Tuesday.

Italy have already qualified for the finals in Poland and Ukraine next summer as Group C winners.

Claudio Marchisio says the Juventus players are quickly adjusting to new coach Antonio Conte's system.

Although Conte uses a 4-4-2 which was employed by previous Coach Gigi Del Neri, he has different ideas of how the side should play.

“We have certainly got better, we were in good shape and concentrated,” he told the side’s website after the 1-0 victory against Club America. “This win is important for morale.

“As well as the win, it was important what we achieved tonight. We are looking to change our style of play and mentality.

“The Coach never wants us to lose the ball and even when we are in difficulty we have to just pass it back to the goalkeeper.

“We did that tonight, perhaps by taking risks, but we passed the ball around and switched play from one side to the other quickly. We’re improving and this progress has to be noted.”

Buffon, Del Piero, Marchisio, Pirlo and Quagliarella were the special models for Juventus 2011/12 “shirt collection”. For the first time, in the dressing room of the new stadium, the five players wore the shirts for the next season and then spoke to media during the shirt presentation event.

Buffon: “We celebrated the clinching of the title in 2006 because we deserved it. I’d be delighted to have it back, it would be a second victory. Ten years ago, when I joined Juventus, the team came from important successes, now this team is trying to travel the same path. We have very good purposes, the club operated at their best, and now it’s up to us. Pirlo was never an enemy. We met when playing in the National Under-15, we needed this kind of player.”

Del Piero: “About the matter concerning the 2006 title, I’ll wait the definitive developments, now I prefer to focus my attention on the future. With Conte as our manager, I’d like to live again those events occurred ten years ago, especially the same end of season. Pirlo? I’m happy for his arrival, the club couldn’t sign a better player.”

Una perla che potrebbe infatti risvegliare l’ingordigia dei ricconi inglesi, Chelsea e Manchester City su tutti. E attenzione pure al Real Madrid, che rischia di perdere Neymar. Di fatto, la Juventus è andata in pole position solo dopo il politico passo indietro di Florentino Perez, che se dovesse ripensarci creerebbe non pochi problemi, anche perché inizialmente Aguero non aveva mai fatto mistero di preferire il Real a ogni altra soluzione. Insomma, urge un’accelerata violenta da parte della Juventus, che a dire il vero in questi giorni non ha mai smesso di tenersi in contatto con gli agenti del 23enne attaccante argentino.

IL BLITZ — Anche ieri il telefono dell’a.d. Marotta era piuttosto rovente. Martedì dovrebbe essere il giorno dell’assalto definitivo. Marotta e Paratici sono infatti attesi nella sede dell’Atletico Madrid. Sergio Aguero è da sempre la loro prima scelta: andare e chiudere sarebbe un segnale di forza, di ritrovato prestigio, al di là della qualità tecnica (chiaramente altissima) del colpo. Per questo, eventualmente, varrebbe comunque la pena di alzare la posta: al momento la Juve è pronta a sborsare 35 milioni di euro, contro i 40 richiesti dagli spagnoli; a livello di ingaggio siamo invece già al massimo con 7,5 milioni a stagione per cinque anni, bonus compresi naturalmente. Giuseppe Rossi resta l’alternativa più credibile al Kun, ma a questo punto del percorso saprebbe molto di ripiego per il popolo bianconero. Vucinic? Lui è un obiettivo a prescindere. Già avviati i primi contatti con la Roma, che valuta il montenegrino non meno di 18 milioni. Con Marchisio nella trattativa si chiuderebbe nel giro di pochi giorni, anche se l’agente di Mirko è a Londra per parlare con il Tottenham, pericolo reale. VIDAL E DANILO — Intanto, la Juve è attiva anche per quanto riguarda i centrocampisti. Già consegnata al Bayer Leverkusen un’offerta da 10 milioni per il cileno Vidal, che a sua volta vuole l’Italia. Passi concreti, poi, sul fronte Danilo Luiz da Silva, 20enne interno del Santos. E’ extracomunitario, piace pure al Milan, ma nel frattempo la Juve avrebbe già sbaragliato la concorrenza del Benfica. Pronti per il brasiliano 8 milioni di euro in contanti. Anche Diarra resta in cima alla lista di Conte, ma arriva solo in caso di scambio con Felipe Melo o Sissoko. Secondo l’Equipe, Juventus e Udinese sarebbero sulle tracce del francese Eliaquim Mangala, centrale difensivo dello Standard Liegi, classe 1991. I bianconeri torinesi, però, non confermano. Capitolo Cerci: il Manchester City è in pole, ma Antonio Conte ha chiesto a Marotta di vigilare. E l’a.d. avrebbe già messo sul piatto della bilancia l’uruguaiano Jorge Martinez. Molti i giocatori in rosa che non rientrano più nei piani tecnici della Juventus. Sono addirittura undici: oltre appunto a Martinez, pure Toni, Iaquinta, Amauri, Felipe Melo, Sissoko, Grosso, Grygera, Motta, Tiago e uno fra Manninger e Storari.

TORINO, 2 lugllio 2011 - Vucinic ha ribadito alla Roma che non intende continuare la sua avventura in giallorosso. Motivi anche ambientali, condivisi oltretutto dalla famiglia. E la Juve ora si muove davvero. Ieri l’agente Lucci ha spiegato a TuttoJuve.com che "su Mirko la situazione è in perenne divenire, ha vissuto una stagione particolare a Roma sotto il profilo personale. Per il suo futuro, quindi, non è da escludere nessuna soluzione. La Juve? Per il momento si tratta più che altro di rumors giornalistici, ma tutto può succedere". Già, e molto comincia a succedere, perché da corso Galileo Ferraris arrivano i primi segnali concreti al "club degli americani".

CONTE CI CONTA — Si parte da basi piuttosto lontane, ma a "motivare" l’ad Marotta ci sono le indicazioni di Conte, che considera il 27enne attaccante montenegrino una priorità assoluta, top player a parte naturalmente. La Roma valuta Vucinic 18 milioni, la Juve vuole trattare soprattutto sulla base di scambi. Scartate le ipotesi Amauri e Iaquinta, la trattativa potrebbe decollare con l’inserimento di Marchisio, giocatore graditissimo ai giallorossi. Molto dipenderà proprio dall’azzurro, anche se al momento la Juve preferirebbe cercare altre soluzioni: 12 milioni in contanti, oppure l’inserimento nell’affare di uno fra Sissoko e Felipe Melo. Siamo chiaramente alle battute iniziali, con Sabatini che non arretra di un metro e Marotta che può contare sulle preferenze del ragazzo, orientato verso Torino: mostrata grande freddezza, infatti, nei confronti dell’ipotesi Tottenham, club che ha offerto alla Roma 15 milioni. L’impressione è che alla lunga la volontà del giocatore non potrà non condizionare questa trattativa, anche se da Roma sperano sempre in un reale inserimento dell’Inter, fattore che automaticamente alzerebbe la posta.

AGUERO CALDISSIMO — Già prenotati, intanto, i biglietti aerei per Madrid. Martedì prossimo, al più tardi 24 ore dopo, Marotta e Paratici raggiungeranno la sede dell’Atletico per l’accelerata decisiva sul fronte Aguero. In queste ore sono continui i contatti con gli agenti del Kun, anche per scongiurare il pericolo Premier, con il Manchester City che fa un po’ più di paura del Chelsea. Va detto, però, che in bianconero Aguero sarebbe al centro del progetto, mentre lo stesso non avverrebbe in un club dove già ci sono Balotelli, Dzeko, Adebayor, Jo, con Nasri in arrivo e Tevez non ancora ceduto. Al genero di Maradona, la Juventus offre 5 anni di contratto a 7,5 milioni a stagione (bonus compresi), probabilmente la prova più importante di quanto i bianconeri puntino sullo straordinario 23enne attaccante di Quilmes, provincia di Buenos Aires. Per l’Atletico Madrid sono pronti 35 milioni di euro.

E CERCI... — Intanto, Conte ha chiesto a suoi dirigenti di non perdere di vista la pista Cerci. Il 23enne esterno offensivo della Fiorentina sarebbe sì a un passo dal Manchester City, ma molte cose non sarebbero ancora andate a posto. E non è un segreto quanto Cerci piaccia — soprattutto dal punto di vista tattico — al nuovo tecnico della Juventus.

コンテが求めている選手はスターではないがクオリティが高い仕事人なのだから。

Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio claims he would reject offers from Europe's top clubs to remain in Turin as he underlines his future plans.

Asked by fans on Tuttosport whether he would join Chelsea, Real Madrid or Barcelona, Marchisio responded: "I would answer the phone, but my response would be 'no thank you'.

"Interest from big clubs always makes you proud, but I want to remain at Juventus."

Skeptics suggested Alberto Aquilani's brilliance could banish Marchisio to the margins - a description he rejected.

"Alberto has taken nothing away from me. Infact I believe he has added so much quality to the team. He has settled instantly."

Juventus have agreed to hand Giorgio Chiellini a five-year deal, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 26-year-old has been in line for a new deal for quite some time, but that was pushed into the background following an active transfer campaign by the club.

Previous reports had suggested a disagreement over wages, with Chiellini demanding the same recognition as some of the club's top earners.

Chiellini is currently on €2million per annum, but that is set to double once he signs his five-year extension.

Claudio Marchisio is next in line for new terms. The midfielder though is distant over reaching an agreement.

He wants €3m per annum, but the club are not prepared to offer that amount.

As Juventus’ Champions League hopes were eventually extinguished this afternoon following the 1-1 draw with Catania, Claudio Marchisio bemoaned a year to forget for the Bianconeri, who are expected to make wholesale changes in the coming months.

“We have made too many mistakes this season,” he declared to SkySport.
