Martin Caceres and Simone Pepe have completed medical examinations following Saturday’s TIM Trophy clash with Milan.

The Uruguayan was this morning given an MRI scan and an orthopaedic examination by Professor Quaglia at the Fornaca clinic in Turin. These tests displayed a first-second degree tear of the medial collateral ligament in his left knee.

The midfielder, assessed by Doctor Ganzit at the city’s Medicina dello Sport, underwent an ultrasound scan which showed a first degree tear of the semimembranosus muscle in his left thigh.

Arturo Vidal and Simone Pepe will be unavailable for Saturday’s home encounter with Chievo. Both players have been handed one-match bans by the sporting body following last weekend’s draw against Milan. The Chilean midfielder was sent off in the closing stages of the game at the San Siro, while the Italian winger’s yellow card saw him pick up his fourth booking of the season.

The Gialloblu will be without Sergio Pellissier after the striker collected his fourth caution of the campaign in yesterday’s home clash with Siena.

Alessandro Matri and Andrea Barzagli have joined Stephan Lichtsteiner and Emanuele Giaccherini on three yellow cards following their bookings on Saturday night.

Claudio Marchisio and Simone Pepe have undergone medical examinations after picking up injuries in yesterday’s win over Atalanta.

Marchisio twisted his right knee in last night’s encounter. The MRI scan, held at the Fornaca clinic in Turin, has ruled out any meniscal tears.

Pepe left the action in the second half having twisted his right ankle. The winger’s scan displayed a slight strain to his anterior talofibular ligament.

Both players will have their conditions monitored over the next few days.

I due giocatori, infortunatisi ieri durante il match con l'Atalanta e costretti ad uscire, si sono sottoposti a controlli medici questa mattina, controlli che hanno escluso complicazioni soprattutto per il centrocampista centrale che aveva accusato un problema al ginocchio.

LA NOTA DEL CLUB - «Questa mattina sono stati sottoposti ad accertamenti medici Claudio Marchisio e Simone Pepe, entrambi usciti infortunati dalla gara di ieri sera a Bergamo. Marchisio ha subito una lieve distorsione del ginocchio destro. La risonanza magnetica eseguita presso la clinica Fornaca non ha evidenziato lesioni meniscali. Pepe ha subito una distorsione della caviglia destra. La risonanza magnetica ha dimostrato un lievissimo interessamento del legamento peroneo-astragalico anteriore. Per entrambi i giocatori i tempi di recupero verranno valutati nei prossimi giorni».

MARCHISIO SOLLEVATO - «Per fortuna niente di grave! - ha commentato subito sulla sua pagina Facebook il principino bianconero - Scusate se non vi ho risposto ieri ma non sapendo ancora nulla volevo aspettare oggi dopo la visita!».

アタランタ戦で負傷したユベントスのクラウディオ・マルキジオとシモーネ・ペペのメディカルチェックが行われ、マルキジオは右膝をひねっており、ペペは右足首の怪我で僅かに十字靱帯に影響がみられる怪我と判明した。

大したことはなく、ふたりとも２，３日で復帰できるとのこと。

マルキジオの代役となったジャッケリーニとマッローネの活躍もあり、中盤は補強なしでも乗り切れそうだが、ペペの離脱は痛い。ジャッケリーニで埋めるか、それともコッパ・イタリアのローマ戦で試したあとでクラシッチを残すか微妙なところ。

いずれにしても大した怪我ではなく、よかった。

Alessandro Matri from Cagliari Calcio S.p.A. for € 15.5 million, payable in three years. The player has signed a 4-year contract;
Fabio Quagliarella from S.S.C. Napoli S.p.A. for € 10.5 million, payable in three years. The player has signed a 3-year contract;
Simone Pepe from Udinese Calcio S.p.A. for € 7.5 million, payable in three years. The player has signed a 4-year contract;
Marco Motta from Udinese Calcio S.p.A. for € 3.75 million, payable in three years. The player has signed a 4-year contract.

These acquisitions will generate economic and financial effects starting from 1st July 2011.

とそれぞれ発表されている。

マトリの獲得はほぼ決まり、クアリャレッラはヤクインタとの交換トレードという話が出ており、ペペは微妙、リヒトシュタイナーの獲得が決まりと言われているライトバックのモッタはセーレンセンの活躍もあり返却と言われていたが、４人の獲得となった。

これで今季ユベントスが獲得した選手は７人。ピルロ、ツィークラー、パツィエンツァに続いて４人のディールが成立。分割払いにしたことでさらに安価に手に入れることとなった。

Simone Pepe giocherà nella Juventus. La società comunica di aver perfezionato l’accordo con l’Udinese per l’acquisto a titolo temporaneo, con effetto dal 1 luglio 2010, del diritto alle prestazioni sportive del giocatore.

Il contratto prevede inoltre la facoltà per Juventus di esercitare, al termine della stagione sportiva 2010/2011, il diritto di opzione per l’acquisizione a titolo definitivo del calciatore.
Simone Pepe, che ieri ha sostenuto le visite mediche (guarda il video su JuventusMember.com) e oggi è in Sudafrica con la nazionale, ha dichiarato: «Sono davvero felicissimo ora che ho firmato e sono pronto ad affrontare l’avventura Mondiale con un’enorme carica in più. Nel giro di un mese ho realizzato due sogni: giocare il Mondiale e arrivare in una grande squadra. La Juve è la società più prestigiosa d’Italia, la sua storia parla chiaro. また、Ｗ杯本戦前にディールをまとめてしまうのはライバルに対して資金力で劣るユベントスらしい。本戦で価値が上がる前にすべてを決めてしまうというのはマッローネの辣腕があってのことだろうし。

現在、着々と再生に向けて再構築は進んでいる。

Simone Pepe has signed his new contract with Juventus after passing all his medical tests, and an official announcement is expected shortly, reports Sky Sport Italia.

Previous reports claimed Juventus and Pepe had agreed to sign the four year contract after the World Cup.

But, the very latest developments from Turin suggest that was brought forward by Juventus and Pepe signed his deal this afternoon at the club's offices in Turin.

This morning Pepe passed his medical tests at La Fornaca clinic and at the Centro Medicina Sport before putting pen to paper.

He joins Juventus on a four year co-ownership deal with Udinese. The Old Lady will pay the Friulani €10million over the duration of his contract.

Juventus have not confirmed reports the player has signed.
