Quagliarella sustains fractured cheekbone(Juventus Official Website)

Fabio Quagliarella has undergone a CT scan at the Vito Fazzi hospital in Lecce, accompanied by club doctor Luca Stefanini. The scan has identified a full fracture of his right cheekbone arch.

The 28-year-old is set to return to Turin with the group and will remain overnight at the Fornaca clinic. Doctor Libero Tubino will carry out a full examination before the striker is operated on in order to reduce the fracture.

昨シーズンも後半戦開幕戦のパルマ戦で右膝前十字靭帯を損傷してシーズンを棒にふる怪我をしており、２年連続。ただ、今回は２週間ほどで復帰できると見られ、コンテの信頼を取り戻してきたクアリャレッラにとっては復帰後にハイパフォーマンスを保てるかが注目される。

Buffon, Del Piero, Marchisio, Pirlo and Quagliarella were the special models for Juventus 2011/12 “shirt collection”. For the first time, in the dressing room of the new stadium, the five players wore the shirts for the next season and then spoke to media during the shirt presentation event.

Buffon: “We celebrated the clinching of the title in 2006 because we deserved it. I’d be delighted to have it back, it would be a second victory. Ten years ago, when I joined Juventus, the team came from important successes, now this team is trying to travel the same path. We have very good purposes, the club operated at their best, and now it’s up to us. Pirlo was never an enemy. We met when playing in the National Under-15, we needed this kind of player.”

Del Piero: “About the matter concerning the 2006 title, I’ll wait the definitive developments, now I prefer to focus my attention on the future. With Conte as our manager, I’d like to live again those events occurred ten years ago, especially the same end of season. Pirlo? I’m happy for his arrival, the club couldn’t sign a better player.”

Marchisio: “In these days, I’ve just known that many fans expressed their total affection towards me. I’d like to thank and also reassure them. I’ve just signed a five year renewal and I’m very happy.”

Pirlo: “The Bianconeri’s colours are very important, this shirt is very important. I wished for a change after many years and now I want to give my contribution to take Juventus to those winning ways that this team deserves. Where can we get? Now we must think in working hard only.”

Quagliarella: “This is my first time at the new stadium and I’m really speechless: it’s amazing! I can’t wait to play here and forget the terrible injury I suffered last year. I’ve already started my preparation, and even on holidays I didn’t rest. I want to repay the club’s confidence, they’ve bought me back even if I got injured, and therefore I’ll aim at scoring a substantial number of goals.”

新スタジアムの完成にともなうもので、伝統のビアンコネーロ、白のジャージに黒のパンツ、創生期のカラーであるピンクに黒のラインがはいったものの３種類に、ブッフォンがＧＫジャージ、マルキジオがポロシャツを披露している。

ブッフォンは「私が移籍してから１０年になる。２００６年以来のスクデットに飢えており、これから成功の道を歩む」とコメント。デル・ピエロも「コンテを監督に迎えて１０年前のような素晴らしいシーズンにしたいね。ピルロの加入は歓迎だよ」と続ける。移籍が噂されるマルキジオも「たくさんのファンに期待されているのは嬉しいよ。新しい契約にサインしたばかりだし最高だね」と。ピルロも「ビアンコネーロのジャージは重要だ」と強調した上で「勝利の道を続けるように努力するよ」と強気のコメントを残した。クアリャアレッラは「新スタジアムは初めての体験で素晴らしいね。怪我でシーズンを棒に振ったけど、それは忘れた。もう新しいシーズンに向けて準備を始めてるよ。バカンスだけど、プレーしたくてたまらないんだ。大事なゴールを狙っていくよ」と意気込みを話している。

キットのお披露目は中心選手の印。この５人は中心選手として来シーズンの核となるに違いない。

Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces the exercise of the rights of option for the definitive acquisitions of the following players:

Alessandro Matri from Cagliari Calcio S.p.A. for € 15.5 million, payable in three years. The player has signed a 4-year contract;
Fabio Quagliarella from S.S.C. Napoli S.p.A. for € 10.5 million, payable in three years. The player has signed a 3-year contract;
Simone Pepe from Udinese Calcio S.p.A. for € 7.5 million, payable in three years. The player has signed a 4-year contract;
Marco Motta from Udinese Calcio S.p.A. for € 3.75 million, payable in three years. The player has signed a 4-year contract.

These acquisitions will generate economic and financial effects starting from 1st July 2011.

とそれぞれ発表されている。

マトリの獲得はほぼ決まり、クアリャレッラはヤクインタとの交換トレードという話が出ており、ペペは微妙、リヒトシュタイナーの獲得が決まりと言われているライトバックのモッタはセーレンセンの活躍もあり返却と言われていたが、４人の獲得となった。

これで今季ユベントスが獲得した選手は７人。ピルロ、ツィークラー、パツィエンツァに続いて４人のディールが成立。分割払いにしたことでさらに安価に手に入れることとなった。

On Friday Goal.com's Max De Luca presented the comparative stats of Juventus strikers Fabio Quagliarella and Alessandro Matri this season and we asked you, the readers, to vote on which of the loan stars you would like the Bianconeri board to sign on a permanent deal.

With Quagliarella having picked up a season-ending knee ligament injury in January the Old Lady moved quickly to bring in Cagliari's Matri as a replacement for the Napoli loanee, but a massive majority of you would like the club to splash the cash and give contracts to both frontmen, with nearly 72 per cent wanting a Quagliarella-Matri strikeforce next season.

Those who chose between the two largely went for Matri, with 18% saying they'd rather he is kept on than Quagliarella, as opposed to just six per cent of the 2794 who voted.

Interestingly, there were almost five per cent of readers who decided that they'd prefer to see the club spend their money elsewhere by keeping neither striker on at the club, despite the 16 goals they've netted between them in less than 2300 combined minutes this term.

クアッリャレッラはナポリからのローン。膝の靱帯の怪我で今シーズン絶望になるまではゴールを量産。クアッリャレッラの怪我のあとにカッリャリからローンでやってきたマトリはすぐに彼の穴を埋めた。

アンケートではクアッリャレッラよりもマトリのほうが多く残留を望む声が多かったという。

今季のユベントスは中心選手がローンで、買い取りオプションばかり。放出されるプレーヤーもいるだろうが、できるならこのスカッドで熟成させてほしいね。守備ブロックをきちんと構築してワクワクするサッカーが見られるように再建してほしい。

Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that the agreement with S.S.C. Napoli S.p.A. for the temporary acquisition of the registration rights of the player Fabio Quagliarella has been reached. The consideration for the loan is € 4.5 million, already paid.

The agreement also includes the option right, to be exercised at the end of the 2010/2011 season, for the definitive acquisition of the football player by Juventus at a price of € 10.5 million, to be paid in three years.

セリエAの中で独立採算性をとり、経営状態のよいユベントスは２年間で２億ユーロの強化費を予算化していると言われ、今季のメルカートでも派手に動いたが、マロッタの意向なのか堅実路線は崩さず。デル・ネーリのチーム作りに沿った選手獲得が、ローン＋買い取りオプションということで行われている。マルコ・モッタ、シモーネ・ペペ、アルベルト・アクイラーニもその流れで、今季のユーベはローンの選手が主力を務めるということが多くありそうだ。

Der Wechsel des Brasilianers Diego Ribas da Cunha zum VfL Wolfsburg ist perfekt. "Diego" unterzeichnete am späten Donnerstagabend einen Vierjahresvertrag bis zum 30. Juni 2014. Der Mittelfeldspieler kehrt von Juventus Turin zurück in die Bundesliga, wo er von 2006 bis 2009 für Werder Bremen spielte.

一方、デル・ネーリが２トップ下をおかないという方針を打ち出していたことにより、セコンダプンタの適性を試されていたジエゴだが、納得させるプレーを見せることができなかったようで、ヴォルフスブルクに1550万ユーロで移籍が決まった。ジエゴはブレーメンから大きな期待をもって迎えられたが、セリエAのタクティクス中心のカルチョにアジャストできず。たった１年でブンデスリーガに復帰することになった。

もちろん、イタリアとドイツのサッカーの違いがあるのだが、ジエゴのような中央でボールにたくさん触ってチャンスメイクするタイプのプレーヤーはスペースがないと難しいということなのだろう。他の選手がスペースを作れればよかったのだが、ユベントスはそういうことができる選手が少なく、いわゆる１０番タイプの選手を必要としないデル・ネーリによって余剰戦力として放出されるかたちとなった。サイドからセントラルＭＦができればまた違ったのだろうが、プレーエリアを何より大事にするカルチョでは居場所を見つけるのはもう少し成熟してからということなのだろうか。それとも、彼の適性を見つけることができる監督がいなかっただけなのだろうか。
