チーロは解任の流れに飲み込まれてしまうのか

Hiddink close to Juventus move(ESPN STAR)

Former Dutch coach Guus Hiddink has been strongly linked with a move to coach Serie A giants Juventus.

Juventus suffered a 3-0 home loss to title rivals AC Milan on Sunday - in was their third defeat in four games. Since then question marks have been raised over Ciro Ferrara's future as Juve coach. The defeat left them 12 points behind pacesetters Inter Milan.

Reports have indicated that the vastly experienced Hiddink is in talks with the Juventus hierachy with regards to a possible move.

The 63-year-old, who won the Champions League title with PSV Eindhoven, is believed to be part of a shortlist of coaches that has been lined up to replace Ferrara.

Hiddink who reportedly rejected an offer to join Manchester City, is believed to be ready to discuss his future after returning from a winter holiday in Kenya.

The 63-year-old is considering whether to stay on as Russia boss for the Euro 2012 qualifiers, while he has also been linked with a return to Chelsea as technical director.

But Ferrara has remained defiant: "I don't feel my job is at risk. I am instead very focussed on what we must do in order to change this negative trend.

"I will accept any decision but as I have said before and I reiterate, I will not leave this ship. It's a very difficult time for us."

もちろん、チャンピオンズリーグのグループステージ敗退でヨーロッパリーグに回り、1500万ユーロ(約20億500万円)の損失を被ったことは残念に思うし、アヤックス相手の初戦に今のままで大丈夫かという不安もある。

ヒディンクになれば、すべてが解決するわけでもない。彼は経験豊富で、有能な指揮官だが、ユベントスの状態は本当にひどい。チーロがいまだに確定したシステムを構築できないのか、彼が無能だからではなく、ユベントスの選手層がいびつだからということも言えるのだ。

ウイングやサイドアタッカータイプの選手が少ないこと。その分、両サイドのフルバックに負担がかかっていることで悪い流れとなっている。

昨シーズンはレフトバックはモリナーロ、ライトバックはグリゲラとゼビナの併用だったが、ここまでひどいスランプに陥らなかった。終盤は確かに勝てなかったが、負けもなかったのだ。そして結果的には２位だった。

今季は直近の７試合で５敗。これはあまりにもひどいとしか言いようがない。立て直しは絶対に必要だ。

といってヒディンクに永遠に託すわけにはいかない。ヒディンクが指揮をとるとしても、チーロをスタッフに残し、経験を積ませてもう一度チャンスを与えるようにするべきだ。彼ひとりでは難しかったことも経験を積めばいい監督になるはずだから。そういうチャンスを残してほしいと思っている。

ミッドウィークに行われるコッパ・イタリアのナポリ戦。この試合は落としても構わないから、立て直しに向けて前進してほしい。
