With a large display in the first half, Uruguay won Paraguay by 3-0 and won the 2011 Copa America. In the Monumental stadium, in Buenos Aires, the Celeste regained the title South American - who has not won since 1995 - and became the biggest champion of the competition's history with 15 titles. But the final blow came on 44 minutes. After exchanging passes, the attack of Uruguay, with Suárez, played upside to Forlan, free to score, and made 3-0. Undefeated and deserved, Uruguay won the 2011 Copa America.

After spending the first phase with a draw against Peru and Chile, Uruguay won his classification conquering Mexico. Then, in the quarterfinals, eliminating the host Argentina on penalties, with great acting from Muslera. コパ・アメリカ・アルゼンチン大会２０１１は優勝がウルグアイの史上最多１５回目の優勝で幕を閉じた。今大会未勝利ながらノックアウトラウンド以降、堅守でファイナルまであがってきたパラグアイだったが、スアレスのゴールで早々に失点。ミスで２点目も失い、前がかりとなったところをウルグアイのカウンターに沈められた。とはいえ、ファイナル以外は一度も負けず、ランナアップとなったのは立派。胸を張ってほしい。

ウルグアイはスアレスが４ゴールでＭＶＰ、フォルランがファイナルで２ゴールと活躍。今大会の優勝でＷ杯南アフリカ大会２０１０の４位がフロックでなかったことを証明し、古豪復活の狼煙を上げた。

優勝がマストだった開催国のアルゼンチンはメッシシステムが機能せずインパクトを残せないままに敗退、王国ブラジルもセミファイナルに残れず、ワールドカップ出場経験のないベネズエラが４位に入るなど波乱が多かった大会。終わってみれば、Ｗ杯最上位国が優勝と順当な結果となった。

Japón no puede jugar la Copa América(Asociación del Fútbol Argentino)

Así se lo hizo saber, antes que a nadie, al Presidente del Comité Organizador de la Copa América Argentina 2011, Dr. José Luis Meiszner. Desde el principio quedó claro el enorme esfuerzo que el Presidente de la Asociación Japonesa de Fútbol, Sr. Junji Ogura, y todos los integrantes de su Comité Ejecutivo, llevaron a cabo para resolver esta situación.

Lamentablemente, a raíz de la tragedia que enlutó a Japón y el mundo, no fue posible llegar a difíciles acuerdos con los clubes de otros continentes.

Lamento mucho comunicarle que la selección japonesa no puede participar en la Copa América 2011 Argentina y al mismo tiempo le pido profundamente disculpas.

Siguiendo lo que hablamos en el Congreso de la CONMEBOL, CONMEBOL envió una carta de solicitud de colaboración respecto al asunto a FIFA.
Seguidamente CONMEBOLy AFA enviaron a los clubes europeos una carta para solicitarles que dieran permiso de participar en la Copa América a sus jugadores japoneses. Luego el Sr. Hiromi Hara, el miembro del Comité Ejecutivo de JFA y director del comité técnico, visitó a cada club europeo pidiendo su colaboración y liberar a sus jugadores japoneses durante la Copa América.

A pesar de todo aunque los clubes europeos comprenden nuestra situación, lamentablemente la mayoría de ellos nos han respondido que no pueden liberar a su jugadores para participar en la Copa América.

Como le explicamos en la reunión realizada en el mes de abril, es difícil de juntar los jugadores desde la Liga Japonesa durante la Copa América ya que el calendario de la Liga sufrió un cambio grave por suspenderse durante 6 semanas después del terremoto, el tsunami y el accidente de la planta nuclear. Con todo esto no podemos formar nuestra selección para participar en el torneo tan significativo como la Copa América y desgraciadamente debemos renunciar a nuestra participación.

Le ruego que comprenda nuestra situación tan espinosa a la que nos estamos enfrentando este año.

南米選手権出場辞退を通達　小倉会長「大半から出場させることできないと」(スポーツニッポン)

サッカーの南米選手権を７月に開催するアルゼンチン協会は１６日、日本サッカー協会の小倉純二会長（７２）から日本代表の招待出場辞退を申し入れる通達文が届いたと発表した。東日本大震災の影響で７月のＪリーグの日程が変更となり、チーム編成が困難になったため。

日本協会は４月に一度は辞退を決めていた。その後アルゼンチン側から翻意を促されたが、最終決定した。コスタリカが代替出場の見通し。

小倉会長は通達文で「日本代表が出場できないとお知らせしなければならないことをおわびしたい。日本代表選手が所属する欧州クラブに対して南米選手権への招集に応じるよう頼んできたが、大半から出場させることはできないと返答された」と説明している。（共同）

コパ・アメリカへの出場問題で揺れていた日本代表は、「海外クラブ所属選手１５人以上」の基準をクリアすることができず、出場辞退を改めて決めたとの通達をアルゼンチンサッカー協会に送っている。ヨーロッパのクラブで主力級の働きを見せた選手を拘束力のない代表戦に供出することを、クラブ側が拒否。理解を得られることなく、Ｊリーグ優先の立場からも出場辞退となった。

代替えの招待国はコスタリカになる見通し。

Markarian calls to Kirin Cup in Japan(Copa America Aegentina 2011)

LIMA, May 13rd 2011 (AFP) – The coach of Peruvian team, the Uruguayan Sergio Markarián summoned seven foreign players to dispute Copa Kirin in Japan, and among them are Jefferson Farfán, which returns to the team after being forgiven by acts of misbehavior, said the local federation on this Friday.

In Copa Kirin, which will be happens day June 1st to 7th June, Peru will face Czech Republic and the host country Japan.

The tournament will mark the return of the forward of Shalke 04 in Germany.

The players summoned by Markarián are: Santiago Acasiete (Almería, Spain), Josepmir Ballón (River Plate, Argentina), Giancarlo Carmona (San Lorenzo, Argentina).

東日本大震災の影響で参加するかどうか決めかねていた、サッカーの南米選手権（７月１～２４日・アルゼンチン）に、日本代表が開催国の特別な計らいで出場することが８日、確実になった。

南米を訪問していた日本協会の小倉純二会長（７２）によると、開催国・アルゼンチン協会のグロンドーナ会長から、欧州リーグに所属する日本人選手の大会派遣を南米連盟が責任を持って「保証」するからと大会参加を熱望されたという。「そこまで言われて検討しないとは言えない。ありがたい話」（同会長）と出場を“内諾”。１４日の理事会で正式決定する見込み。

国際サッカー連盟（ＦＩＦＡ）の筆頭副会長も務めるグロンドーナ会長の熱意にほだされた。「欧州でプレーする選手が必要なら南米連盟が責任を持って派遣を保証する。どの選手が必要か言ってくれれば、リストをもとに打ち合わせをする」の言葉で、一度は出場辞退に傾いた日本も再考せざるを得なくなった。

他大陸大会に招待で参加する日本は欧州クラブに対して選手招集の強制力がないが、この“超法規的措置”については、ＦＩＦＡのブラッター会長からも「検討する」との返答があったことも伝えられた。

小倉会長は既に欧州１４カ国（原則２部リーグ以上）でプレーする日本人２８人のリストを南米連盟に提出。実際に招集可能かどうかは各クラブの協力次第だが、７月にＪリーグが組み込まれたことで国内組による代表編成が厳しい現状では、オール欧州組の可能性も十分にありえる。　（上條憲也）

コパ・アメリカは南米ナンバーワンを決める大陸コンペティションだが、日本代表は招待国のため、インターナショナルAマッチに適用される選手招集の強制力がない。だが、開催国アルゼンチンのサッカー協会とFIFAの後押しにより、海外クラブに所属する選手の招集が実現的になり、辞退から一転出場へと傾いている。１４日の理事会で、選手の確保ができるなら正式決定となる。

Ｊリーグ優先は絶対だが、夢を与える意味もあり、コパ・アメリカ出場で日本が明るくなるなら効果は絶大だ。南アフリカで見せてくれた感動をもう一度見せてくれれば、頑張れる。

とはいえ、厳しいのは現実。夏までに問題が解決するわけではないし、復興には時間がかかる。日本サッカー協会は難しい選択を迫られている。

日本代表は苦渋の選択でコパ・アメリカを辞退！！

日本サッカー協会の小倉純二会長（７２）は４日、パラグアイ・アスンシオンの南米連盟でニコラス・レオス会長と会談。日本代表が招待された南米選手権（７月・アルゼンチン）について「日本の状況を話し、７月に日本代表を送るのは難しいと説明した」と辞退を申し出て了承された。国際連盟、南米連盟も発表した。

震災に出場を阻まれた。Ｊリーグは中止分の試合を７月に組み込んだため、主力の招集が難しくなった。また、招待出場のため拘束力はなく、欧州組の招集も確定的ではなかった。Ｕ‐２２など若手起用も含め複数のチーム編成案を模索したが、最終的に断念した。

９月のＷ杯アジア３次予選に向けて、敵地で南米勢とのガチンコ勝負という格好の強化機会を失った。代替案としてイタリア代表、スペイン代表との対戦を視野に入れた短期間の欧州遠征案が上がっている。

二度目のコパ・アメリカ出場は夢と消えた。未曾有の災害をもたらした東北地方太平洋沖地震の影響もあり、Ｊリーグは夏場の７月に試合を組み込み、代表チームを派遣することが難しくなった。代表強化の絶好の機会だったがＪリーグが優先なのは間違いない。そして、今は復活のための雌伏のとき。強くなった日本を見せるために、応援してくれる世界のサッカーに恩返しするために頑張ってほしい。

日本の出場辞退再考促す、南米選手権(日刊スポーツ)

アルゼンチン・サッカー協会は５日、東日本大震災の影響で南米選手権（７月・アルゼンチン）の出場辞退を申し入れた日本に対し、再考するよう促したことを明らかにした。再考期間は１０日間としている。

５日、日本協会の小倉純二会長が大会開催国の理解を得るため、アルゼンチン協会のグロンドーナ会長と会談した。

小倉会長は４日、７月のＪリーグ開催で代表チーム編成が困難になったことなどから、大会を主催する南米サッカー連盟のレオス会長に辞退を伝え、了承されている。

日本が辞退した場合にはコスタリカが代替出場することが有力視されているほか、昨年のＷ杯南アフリカ大会覇者のスペインも招待を受けたことを明らかにしている。

コパ・アメリカは日本代表の替わりにエジプト代表が招待されることになっているが、現在もオフィシャルは日本代表が出場することになっている。アルゼンチンサッカー協会は日本と縁が深いこともあり、日本の出場を望んでいるようだ。できれば出場したいが、苦渋の選択で辞退を決めた。Ｊリーグの日程も遅れ、そして、国力も失った。応援してくれるのは嬉しいが、まずは立て直しから。しっかりがんばりたい。

本戦までの強化には間に合わないけれど

日本代表は２０１１年にアルゼンチンで開かれるコパ・アメリカに招待されているようだ。

Japan Invited To Copa America 2011 Along With Mexico(Goal.com)

Japan have been invited to play in the Copa America 2011 in Argentina, along with regular outsiders, Mexico.

Should the Asian nation accept it will only be the second time they have taken part in the tournament, and a return after nearly a decade away.

The last time they played was in the 1999 version and on that occasion they failed to win a match, drawing once and losing twice.

In the three games they conceded a total of eight goals, but will no doubt relish the chance to prove themselves against the likes of Argentina and Brazil.

CONMEBOL have released an official statement today, confirming the invitations to both Japan and Mexico.

"El Sr. Julio Grondona, president of the Argentinian Football Association, has confirmed his country as the host of the Copa America in 2011. An invitation to the Japanese Football Association will be sent out. The other place will be for Mexico. The cities of La Plata, Cordoba, Santa Fe, Jujuy and Salta will host this traditional competition," read the statement.

Argentina will go into the tournament looking to pick up their 15th title, but will have to take the crown from Brazil, who lifted it in 2007.

CONMEBOLがオフィシャルで日本とメキシコの招待を明らかにしたとのことだが、現在オフィシャルが見られない状態なので、どうなっているかはわからない。

wikipediaでも参加国として日本が紹介されており、出場するのは本当らしい。

ただ、日本サッカー協会はこのことに触れておらず、まだこれから発表ということらしい。

また２０１１年にはカタールで開かれるアジアカップ２０１１があり、日程をどうするかというのも気になるところではある。

いずれにしても、この招待が今年の夏に行われたものならＷ杯南アフリカ大会に向けて大きな実戦経験になったのだが、それも含めて運ということなのかな。

監督も間違いなく、岡田さんではなくなっているからね。
