Chelsea send scouts to watch Juve goalkeeper(Mirror Football)

Chelsea are eyeing a swoop for Juventus keeper Marco Storari to provide cover for the injured Petr Cech.

Blues boss Andre Villa-Boas is not convinced by current back-up Hilario and is scouting for a new shot-stopper.

He sent Chelsea talent spotters to check on Juve’s number two keeper in a reserve-team tournament over the weekend.

Storari has played 23 games for the Italian side when stepping in for the injured Gigi Buffon, having signed for Juve from AC Milan for £4million last June.

The 34-year-old has over 300 games behind him in Italian football and was part of his country’s 2006 World Cup squad, although he has never played for the national team.

Cech is out for a month having damaged ligaments in his knee.

Storari is being considered on a long-term deal, with the idea that he can step in and give Cech a breather from time to time once he recovers from injury.

ツェフは膝の怪我で１ヶ月の離脱中。２節はイラーリオでしのいだが、それでは不安だったのか、ユベントスのサブチームのＧＫストラーリに白羽の矢を立てた。

ストラーリは怪我のブッフォンの穴を埋めて、ユーベの前半戦の躍進を支えたが、ブッフォンの復帰とともにベンチに逆戻り。ハイパフォーマンスを見せたが、出番をなくしていた。

ストラーリはイタリア代表のキャップはないものの、２００６年ワールドカップドイツ大会予選で招集された経験を持つ。

ユベントスはチェルシーのＣＢアレックスを狙っており、ストラーリとのトレードという形で落ち着く可能性は高い。とはいえ、荒いアレックスより、コアテスやルガーノの方がいいとは思うのだけどね。

Juventus Coach Luigi Del Neri: Gianluigi Buffon Will Start Against Bari(Goal.com)

Juventus coach Luigi Del Neri has confirmed that goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon will start against Bari in their Serie A encounter on Sunday.

The Italy international custodian made his long-awaited comeback from injury against Catania in the Coppa Italia in midweek.

“I can confirm Gigi will start, as he has fully recovered in physical terms and so I consider him ready to play," Del Neri told the press.

"His recovery was actually much quicker than anyone expect and on Thursday he proved he was ready mentally as well.

“Of course nobody is happy when they don’t get to play, but Storari knows I have great faith in him and it was a difficult decision. He has done well so far, but we now have a world class goalkeeper.

“I certainly would not sell him, as I’ll inform the club that Juve need two goalkeepers to continue the project. It’s better to have one spare than two missing.”

Juve have been off form of late but the trainer insists that their season has not unravelled. He added, “I don’t think Juve can change the work of six months in the space of six days. We have the quality to notch up many more points than in the first half of the season and there is a long way to go.”

さらに、ストラーリを放出するつもりはないとして、ユベントスのプロジェクトにはふたりの素晴らしいゴールキーパーが必要だとして、お互いにカバーできるように考えることを明らかにしている。前半戦頑張ったストラーリと後半戦のブッフォンも同じということだね。生き残るために考えていることはクオリティを揃えることだからね。

チームとなるには時間が必要とストラーリが強調

Juventus goalkeeper Marco Storari believes it will take time for the squad to find their feet following a summer of changes.

The Bianconeri's domestic season started on the wrong foot after they lost to Bari last Sunday.

But Storari is staying positive and believes their efforts in training will pay off.

"We need time to get used to the new schemes which have convinced in the past. Game after game we can hold our own, but for now we shouldn't be speaking about objectives," he told Juventus Channel.

"We know that the team is strong and we can achieve a satisfying run."

もちろん、シーズンに入ってからできる言い訳ではないが、バーリとの試合ではまったく機能しなかったのも事実だ。バーリのポゼッションが高く、セカンドボールもことごとくバーリが拾うという展開では勝てるものも勝てない。というレベルから、１週間のインターナショナルAマッチデイを挟んでどこまでフィットできるか。代表に呼ばれている選手もいるが、他の選手で連携を深めていく時間がとれたというだけでもありがたいこと。

ブレイク明けはサンプドリアと難敵だが、復活したユベントスを魅せてもらいたい。
