Juventus officials have arrived in Brazil in a bid to beat Tottenham to Leandro Damiao.

Spurs have wanted the Internacional striker since last summer after failing with a bid believed to be in the region of £12m.

Harry Redknapp, desperate to land a striker, remains eager to sign Damiao and is expected to make another move for him in January - while Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is also monitoring the situation.

It is understood that Internacional are willing to sell now while Damiao's profile is high, with Spurs joined by AC Milan and ambitious Shakhtar Donetsk in the hunt to sign him.

But a fourth party, Juventus, have come into the picture and the Serie A giants have sent a delegation to Brazil to negotiate a move for the 22-year-old.

Antonio Conte, the Juventus manager, believes he can sign Damiao right from under Spurs' noses and having gone cold over a move for Carlos Tevez, Conte is ready to open the bidding for Damiao at around £18m.

Juventus have put Gareth Bale and Theo Walcott at the top of their shopping list in a bid to strengthen their push for the Italian title.

The Turin club also want to sign emerging Brazil striker Leandro Damiao, who has been pursued by Tottenham and Arsenal over the last year.

Walcott and, in particular, Bale have long been admired by Juve, and general director Giuseppe Marotta has made it a priority to strengthen the flanks after being cleared to spend big in January.

According to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, Tottenham’s high valuation of Bale makes a deal seem beyond reach, unless the 22-year-old Wales star can be persuaded to seek a move to Serie A.

Juve hope Arsenal are more willing to negotiate on Walcott, who is out of contract at the end of next season, and are prepared to offer Milos Krasic in part-exchange for the England international.

Arsenal were one of a number of English clubs who tracked Krasic before he moved from CSKA Moscow to Juventus 15 months ago.

The 27-year-old Serb is out of favour with coach Antonio Conte and is keen to move to England in January, despite receiving big-money offers to return to Russia or move to Turkey.

Damiao has been in red-hot form for Brazilian side Internacional this year, scoring 40 goals in 52 games.

Tottenham twice bid for the 22-year-old in the summer but fell short of the £15million asking price, which has now reached at least £20m.

Juventus have switched their attention to Damiao after deciding a move for Carlos Tevez did not represent good value for money. The Manchester City striker has also told his representatives that he would rather move to Milan than Turin.

Juve remain keen on signing a centre half but are struggling to find a top-class player to fit their budget - especially if they switch their attention to signing forwards.

They remain keen on Spurs centre half Younes Kaboul and hope to use Brazil-born Italy striker Amauri as part-payment in any deal for the France defender.

ＣＢについては様々な憶測が飛び交っているが、アマウリを交換条件として差し出すことで安く抑えようと考えているようだ。
