インテルはサミュエル・エトーの入団を、バルセロナはズラタン・イブラヒモビッチの入団をそれぞれオフィシャルで発表した。

Con el himno azulgrana de fondo y numerosos flashes en las graderías, el ex del Inter ha deleitado al público con unos espectaculares malabarismos con el balón y ha devuelto los aplausos de la grada. En numerosas ocasiones, el sueco ha besado el escudo.

Barcelona look set for another stumbling block in their bid to sell Samuel Eto'o, as he wants Inter to make him the best paid player in the world.

The Blaugrana are hoping to send him to Inter, along with €46 million, in exchange for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

However, according to AS, another complication has hit the deal. While Inter are keen on Eto'o, they will not be so keen on his demands, which are a €15m signing on fee and a salary of €10m per year.

Eto'o has been given permission to return to Barca training on July 27, but he is set to meet with club officials on Monday to sort out his future.

Given that he is still under contract until next season, the only certainty thus far appears to be that Eto'o's exit will be made on his own terms.

Ibrahimovic siempre había sido el objetivo prioritario del Barça y el delantero preferido por Guardiola, que veía en el sueco al ariete de referencia que necesitaba para su esquema de juego. Las altas cifras que se movían en la operación habían dificultado el cierre del acuerdo, pero tras los últimos acontenimientos vividos en torno a Villa y Samuel Eto’o volvieron a iniciarse los contactos. Después de constatar que el Valencia se mostraba inflexible en el traspaso de Villa y que a Samuel Eto’o se le cerraban las puertas del Manchester City se retomó la posibilidad de una negociación que incluyera el trueque del sueco y el camerunés. Tras los últimos contactos de Laporta y Txiki Begiristain con Guardiola, se decidió pasar a la acción con la máxima celeridad. Se trataba de poder fichar al jugador que quería Guardiola y, de paso, resolver la salida de Eto’o. Dicho y hecho, el presidente barcelonista contactó con Massimo Moratti y acordaron una reunión de urgencia para ayer por la noche. Laporta tenía el OK de Eto’o y Moratti preguntó a Ibrahimovic su disposición a ir al Barça. La respuesta fue positiva, hasta el punto de que el propio dirigente interista reconoció anoche que la operación se había efectuado básicamente para atender los deseos de su jugador. Obviamente, también la operación económica es importante, Mourinho se asegura un recambio de primer nivel para Ibrahimovic y la cesión de Hleb, un jugador muy bien valorado por el técnico portugués.

Por otra parte, Ibrahimovic se mostró dispuesto a rebajar sus pretensiones económicas para recalar en el Camp Nou porque está convencido de que es en ese club donde puede alcanzar su mayor sueño, la conquista de la Champions League.

Como es sabido, dentro del orden salarial del barcelona, Leo Messi ha de ser el jugador con la ficha más alta de la plantilla, algo que no cambiará con la llegada del sueco, que, eso sí, estará cerca de la ficha del fenómeno argentino. Por su parte, Samuel Eto’o pidió al Inter 65 millones por cinco temporadas, cosa que nunca fue un impedimento para el club italiano dado que Ibrahimovic cobraba 12 millones por temporada. Tanto Guardiola como Mourinho han visto satisfechos sus deseos con esta operación, pues no hay que olvidar que el técnico portugués cuando dirigía al Chelsea ya se lo quiso llevar a Inglaterra. Por otra parte, el hecho de que el representante del sueco, Mino Raiola, sea el mismo que el de Maxwell ha facilitado la operación y, sobretodo, la rapidez con la que se han llevado a cabo las negociaciones que finalmente han concluido con éxito.

DECO & CARVALHO — Per quanto riguarda i due portoghesi del Chelsea, Moratti chiarisce: "Non ho individuato personalmente questi obiettivi. Ma ora sono sempre più difficili da raggiungere, perchè si tratta di giocatori che diventano di grandissima utilità solo se hanno un adeguato peso economico. Altrimenti rischiano di essere degli acquisti sbagliati. Servono tempo e attenzione. È un anno di grandissima crisi che tutte le industrie hanno sentito e che forse è finito, ma la coda darà degli effetti ancora peggiori durante l'anno e quindi credo che il calcio ne risenta".

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, the Czech midfielder had in fact already decided to say goodbye to football definitively. The player revealed this himself to a person very close to him, again according to Il Corriere. Tonight came the confirmation.

The player had been offered a contract by Inter, arch-rivals of his last club Juventus, for whom he played for eight years. Meanwhile, the Bianconeri also offered him a role in their managerial staff.

Whether he will stay at Juve as a manager remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: we will not see him wearing the Inter shirt next season.

Most Nerazzurri fans probably won't be too disappointed, as they already manifested their disapproval of this possible move soon after rumours came out that Nedved was offered to play for Inter.

The Catalan giants' president Joan Laporta claimed signing £40million-rated Fabregas is high on their agenda this summer.

He said: "Signing Cesc this summer is not a solution we have discarded."
