Honda on target as VVV Venlo draw with Groningen(Tribalfootball)
Japan international Keisuke Honda scored again for Dutch club VVV Venlo but could not guide the team to victory against FC Groningen.
Played at Venlo’s De Koel, the home side got off to the perfect start when Honda netted in just the 7th minute.
But the complexion of the match completely turned when Groningen hit back six minutes and then took the lead in the 15th minute.
The game became even more amazing when Sandro Calabro equalised in the 20th minute.
The remainder of the contest however brought about no more goals, with both sides having to share the points.
It was Honda’s fourth goal in just three Eredivisie matches this season.
本田圭佑が自分が倒されて得たＦＫをみずから決めて先制したものの、またしてもVVVフェンロはフローニンヘン相手にドロー。４節を戦って５ゴールとアヤックスのスアレスと並んで暫定トップ（アヤックスは今日のゲーム）ながら、チームは４試合連続ドローという結果になった。
やはり守備組織のてこ入れは必要だろう。攻撃は本田、カラブロを中心に素晴らしいが、さすがに勝ち点３がとれないのは苦しい。最大の目標は残留だが、勝ち点２を落とし続けたことはあとで響くかもしれない。
それにしても本田圭佑のコンディションはかなり上がっている。このままの状態ならエールディビジの得点王も狙えるポジション。チームの勝ちに結びつかないのは残念だが、今まで日本人にいなかったゴールにこだわるプレイメイカーとしてより大きく成長してほしい。
