A group of Japanese youngsters were today treated to a special experience in Vinovo, facing the Giovanissimi Regionali in an afternoon friendly fixture as part of their Italian tour.

The Azzurri, a Sendai-based club founded following World Cup 2002, have been regular visitors to the country in recent years and are currently midway through a week’s programme of friendlies against sides from the region.

The team was unfortunately forced to cancel last year’s trip due to the Japanese earthquake, with its epicentre located in close proximity to the city of Sendai.

日本人の若きサッカー選手たちががユベントスのトレーニングセンターのヴィノーヴォを訪れ、貴重な体験をしている。彼らが午後にU-16の選手たちとフレンドリーマッチを行う。

この交流は２００２年日韓ワールドカップでイタリア代表が仙台をキャンプ地としたことから始まり、毎年交流が行われている。

昨年は東日本大震災のためにキャンセルとなったが、今年はツアーが無事に行われている。
